Transfer Music From An Itouch To A Pc

Apple's iPod Touch MP3 players help you listen to music anywhere, at any time.

Although most users usually transfer media from computers to the iPod Touch, if you want to transfer media from the iPod touch media to your computer, the process is simple, and it does not require third-party software.

Instructions

1. Connect the iPod touch to the computer.

2. Open iTunes and go to the source pane. Under "Devices," choose your iPod and under the iPod summary, choose "Enable Disk Use."

3. Go up to "Edit," choose "Preferences," then "Advanced" and choose "General." Choose the "Keep iTunes Music Folder Organized" and "Copy Files to iTunes Music Folder when Adding to Library" options. Go to "My Computer" on your computer and find the iPod as a removable device.

4. Turn the iPod on and open "iPod Control." Right-click the mouse on the "Music" folder and choose "Copy" from the drop-down menu.

5. Go to "My Music" on the computer using Windows Explorer. Open the "iTunes" folder, then right-click the mouse on the "iTunes Music" folder and choose "Paste" from the drop-down menu.

6. Go back to iTunes and go up to "File" and choose "Add Folder to Library," "My Music,""iTunes," then "Music" and click "Add." Wait for the files to transfer to the computer hard drive. The files will have random four-letter names but the file names are still within the file attributes.
