Sync An Iphone 3g With Outlook

The iPhone 3G is one of the most popular consumer smart phones thanks in large part to its ability to synchronize your online and desktop data to the device, enabling you to access your most important information on the go. The iPhone is particularly adept at syncing email, calendar and contact data from a wide variety of productivity applications, both online and offline. In the case of Microsoft Outlook, the iPhone can sync data from the program through iTunes as long as iTunes is configured correctly.

Instructions

1. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the appropriate USB cable.

2. Launch iTunes if it does not open automatically.

3. Select your iPhone 3G from the list of devices in the left navigational menu.

4. Select the "Info" tab.

5. Enable sync for Outlook contacts, calendars, notes and email by clicking the check box in each of these sections and selecting "Outlook" from the applications drop-down menu.

6. Click "Apply." Your iPhone 3G will now be synced with Microsoft Outlook every time you perform a synchronization through iTunes.
