Use the Nokia E71's GPS Receiver


Featuring a full QWERTY keypad, a 3-inch color LCD display, Wi-Fi and EDGE network support, the Nokia E71 additionally includes an internal GPS receiver with mapping software that provides you with voice-guided navigation for walking or driving. Developed for people with or without GPS experience, operating the mapping software on the E71 is simple and takes no time to master.


Instructions


Find Your Location


1. Unlock the display on your phone and open the main menu.


2. Select "GPS" in the menu, then choose "Maps."


3. Select "My Position" in the lower-left. The map will indicate your position with a small red dot.


Find a Location


4. Open the main menu, select "GPS" and open "Maps."


5. Select "Find Places" type the keywords of where you want find and press the "Go" button.


6. Select the location in the list of search results and choose "Map" to view it on the map.


Get Voice-Prompt Guidance


7. Open the main menu, select "GPS" and open "Maps."


8. Select "Drive" or "Walk," depending on your circumstances, and select your language.


9. Select "Set Destination" and type the address you would like to go to using the keypad.


10. Select "Go to" to show the route on your device. As you progress, your Nokia E71 will offer voice assistance for your route.
