Take Apart A Flip Video Ultra

The Flip Ultra is a digital video camera that saves content directly onto an inserted memory card. The video camera fits into the palm of your hand and gives you access to a movie recorder, regardless of where you are. If you are curious about the inner workings of the Flip Ultra and want to know how it works, it is possible to take the Flip Ultra apart.

Instructions

1. Remove the cover to the battery compartment and take out the batteries currently in the Flip Ultra camera.

2. Pry the top piece of the video camera off with your flat-head screwdriver. This reveals six different screws on the front of the camera. Remove these six screws with your Phillips screwdriver.

3. Look at the bottom of the camera. There are two openings. Insert the flat-head screwdriver and pull the plastic compartment off. This separates the cover from the inner circuit board on the camera.

4. Remove the Phillips screws holding the circuit board down onto the camera. This completes the disassembling process.
