Activate My Sim Card For Rogers Mobile Internet Stick

You can activate your SIM card from home.

Gone are the days when you had to go to the manufacturer in order to activate your Rogers SIM card. Now you can activate it at home with a few simple steps and even activate it for mobile Web. Make sure that you have a Rogers SIM; otherwise the SIM card will not be able to be activated in your Rogers phone.

Instructions

1. Charge your phone by plugging your phone's adapter into the wall outlet and the other end into your phone's charging hub. Your phone should be fully charged when you activate your Roger's SIM card.

2. Turn off your phone by pressing and holding the power button.

3. Push and slide off the phone's battery door and remove the SIM card if you are changing your SIM card. Take note of your phone's IMEI number and your SIM card's serial number before you put the battery cover back on.

4. Insert your SIM card and replace the battery door by sliding it on.

5. Go to Rogers.com to activate your SIM card online.

6. Enter the 15-digit IMEI number that was underneath the battery in the "Serial Number" box. You can also find this on the box your phone came in.

7. Enter your 20-digit SIM number in the "SIM Number" box.

8. Select your province and city from the drop-down menu.

9. Click "Continue."

10. Enter your name and address, phone number and email address in the "Customer Information" page and click "Continue."

11. Select the features you would like to include in your plan, such as text-messaging, voice mail, mobile Internet data plan and more. Click "Continue."
