Unlock your Nokia 2760 for use on the wireless network of your choice.
Your Nokia 2760 handset must be unlocked for use on the AT&T wireless network. By entering specific codes, you can use the subscriber identity module (SIM) card for any provider. Sometimes a fee is required to access the unlock code. This is in addition to the purchase of the handset. Depending on the country where your network is based, your unlock code will arrive 12 hours to 10 days after placing your order. Once the code is entered, your handset is instantly unlocked.
Instructions
1. Select your unlock code provider. There are online companies that provide unlock codes. Fees vary for their services. Compare pricing and order processing times. Note that unlock code delivery may not be instant.
2. Enter your order. A valid email address is required. Provide the international mobile equipment identity (IMEI) number to obtain the correct unlock code for your handset. Find your IMEI number in the phone battery compartment. If applicable, pay for your code using a credit card.
3. Input the unlock code on your handset keypad. The unlock code is sent through the email address you provided during checkout. Once the code is entered on your handset, the phone is instantly unlocked. When the code is entered successfully, power down your handset.
4. Insert AT&T's wireless SIM card.
5. Contact AT&T customer service to proceed with activation. You need your IMEI number, found in the handset battery. The customer service representative will guide you in retrieving the SIM card information needed to activate your new service.
