Find Out My Serial Number To My Samsung Omnia

The Samsung Omnia is a smartphone that operates on the Verizon Wireless network. Samsung introduced the phone to compete with the Apple iPhone. In order to register your Omnia cell phone with Verizon, you will need to know the phone's serial number, often labeled as "HEX" or "ESN." You will also need this information to report a lost or stolen phone and be compensated if you are enrolled in an insurance program. If you are purchasing a used phone and the serial number label is missing, you should suspect that the phone has been altered.

Instructions

1. Turn the phone off and place it face down on a table with the top facing you.

2. Press down the top of the battery cover and slide it away from you toward the bottom of the phone. Lift the cover off the phone to reveal the battery.

3. Lift the top edge of the battery and pull it up, out of the battery bay.

4. Locate the serial number of the bar code label inside the battery bay. It will be labeled as either "HEX" or "ESN."
