Cancel Call Forwarding On An Nec Dterm Series Phone

The Dterm phone system can forward landline calls to a cell phone.

Canceling call forwarding on a NEC Dterm series phone lets you begin receiving calls on your office line after previously having call forwarding set. The Dterm phone system allows three types of call forwarding. The call forward all calls option forwards calls directly to another line without ringing the office line. The call forward busy and call forward no answer options forward calls to a different line if your current line is busy or you do not answer, respectively.

Instructions

1. Lift the handset to change forwarding settings on your own line or press the sub-line button if disabling another line. Wait for a dial tone.

2. Press the "CFA" button or dial "*2" and wait for a confirmation tone to disable the call forward all calls function. Wait for the confirmation tone. Hang up the phone and wait for the CFA light to turn off on the line you disable forwarding on.

3. Press the "CFB" button with the line active to disable the call forward busy option. Alternatively, you may dial "#3" and wait for the confirmation tone before hanging up.

4. Pick up the handset and press the "CFNA" key or dial "*4" to disable the call forward no answer feature. Hang up the handset after you hear the confirmation tone.

5. Call your office number to verify that call forwarding is disabled.
