Put On Nokia 6085 Faceplates

The Nokia 6085 is a standard cellular flip phone that comes equipped with a front faceplate that protects the inside screen. If you are bored with the look of your 6085, you can remove the faceplate and replace it with one of a different design. The best part about this process is that it doesn't involve disassembly of the lower part of the unit.

Instructions

1. Turn off your Nokia and slide the battery cover off of the rear of the unit. Remove the battery and set it aside.

2. Flip open the phone and insert the tip of your flat-head screwdriver underneath the panel that covers the LCD screen and pry it off.

3. Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws on the corners of the LCD screen.

4. Close the phone and pry the faceplate off of the top of the unit. Fit a new one over the top of the phone and press it down at the sides and corners to secure it.

5. Open the phone and replace the screws.

6. Fit the panel over the screen and press it down at the sides and corners to secure it.
