The Motorola H500 is a Bluetooth headset that can be connected to a mobile phone allowing the user to make and receive calls hands-free. If you've recently purchased a Motorola H500 headset, getting started using the headset with your mobile phone takes just a few minutes.
Instructions
1. Power the Motorola H500 headset on by pressing and holding down the button on the back of the headset until you hear two quick beeps. When powered on, the H500 will automatically enter standby mode, which is indicated by a blinking blue light of the back of the headset. Once the headset is powered on, place it near your mobile phone.
2. Pair your headset with your phone. To pair your headset, navigate into the Bluetooth menu of your phone (typically located under settings) and select "Add a new device" from the available options. Select the Motorola H500 from the list of devices that appear.Your phone will list all Bluetooth-enabled devices powered on near it. When prompted, enter the pairing code for your H500 into your mobile phone. The pairing code is a series of letters and numbers found on a sticker attached to the back of your headset. After you pair the H500 and your phone you will not have to repeat the pairing process again.
3. Leave your headset powered on near your mobile phone whenever you want to use it. When placing a call your phone will ask you if you would like to use your headset or the phone. Select the headset in order to use it for the call.
4. Answer calls that come in by pressing the button on the back of the headset with a picture of a telephone handset on it. You can also end a call by pressing the button again.
5. Adjust the volume of the headset by pressing the button on the side of the headset. Pressing the button toward the top of the headset will turn the volume up, while pressing the button toward the bottom of the headset will lower the volume.
6. Power the headset off by pressing the button on the back of the headset down and waiting to hear two beeps. When powered off, no lights on the headset will be lit.
