Sync An Iphone With Mobile Me

The iPhone when synced with MobileMe keeps information in your phone's mail, browser, and calendar application current with the information stored on the MobileMe server. The initial setup process for MobileMe on the iPhone is done through iTunes, which acts as a media hub for your computer and phone's content. After the MobileMe account is set up to the iPhone the device will check the MobileMe server for new information with the data fetching feature, according to Apple.

Instructions

1. Insert the docking cable into the iPhone and the computer's USB port, and open iTunes.

2. Click the iPhone icon in the iTunes' side window, and click "Info" in the iPhone preferences window. Click "Sync Mail Accounts" and click "MobileMe."

3. Click "Apply" and click "Eject" after the iPhone synchronizes with iTunes. Tap "Settings" on the iPhone's screen, tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" and tap "MobileMe."

4. Touch the switch on the "Contacts," "Calendars," "Bookmarks" and "Notes" tab to activate synchronization for each application.

5. Touch the "Mail" icon, and touch "Fetch New Data." Click the "Push" tab to activate push notification. Click the time interval you want to set for data fetching, and press the "Home" button to save the changes.
