Tether A Nokia E71x On At&T

The Nokia E71X offers access to Exchange, Mobile Email, instant-messaging, documents on the go and Internet sharing. Using your phone as a computer modem allows you to connect to the Internet using your mobile phone. Connecting to the Internet using your Nokia E71X requires that you have the Nokia PC Suite installed on your computer to facilitate the connection with your computer.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the Nokia website and click "Support" and "Download software" and select your computer type to download the Nokia PC Suite. The computer options include PC, Mac and Beta. If using a PC, click "Cable drivers," and click "Device as modem" if using a Mac. PC users must click to select the software to use based on the USB cable provided with your device. The cable type is printed on a white sticker on the computer connection end of your USB cable. Click "Download now" on the "Driver" page, and the download wizard will begin. Be sure to follow all the steps of the wizard to ensure proper installation.

2. Connect your USB cable to your phone and to an open USB slot on your computer.
